About Me

I am a reader, writer, teacher, penny-saver, housemaid, and foodie all wrapped together in a marshmellow mom packaging. I am of the belief that everyone could use a little help sometimes, and that it’s healthy to share ones thoughts and fears, so I created this blog in the hope that my stories, recipes, and cleaning tips may help other mommies out there who, like me, have very little clue what they are actually doing.

As a new mom to a special-needs child, it was hard to find a sense of community, and difficult to find a place that felt safe to ask for help, free of judgement. My goal is to create a community where other mothers can feel safe to ask for help: from cooking dinner and getting slime out of the carpet, to tackling generational trauma one story at a time. This is a place for women to form a sisterhood and be seen, heard, and helped.
